Rancho La Paz is a gated community occupying ten acres of fee simple land in South Palm Springs at 1150 East Palm Canyon Drive. Built during the period 1978-1979, its developer was Perry Freeman, a general contractor who built several complexes and commercial structures in the Palm Springs area.

The 94 condominium units at Rancho La Paz come in 7 one, two and three bedroom models located in one and two-storey stucco buildings with distinctive blue-grey tile roofs. The design of the units features vaulted and beamed ceilings. Car parking is a mix of carports and attached garages. In the current sellers’ market prices range from $189,000 to $365,000.

Rancho La Paz is a permanent home to more and more residents. The ratio of full time to part time residents is now about 60/40.

Rancho La Paz homeowners love its central location, grounds, and accessibility. It is close to great shopping, restaurants, bus stops, services and religious centers. The landscaping is lush and the greenbelt plentiful. Many of the homes enjoy fine mountain views.

Solar pool heating has been installed, and driveway and street projects are under way.
